Our 9th May 2022 session coincides with Mental Health awareness week. As we’ve received grateful support from CALM through their Caring United campaign, for our 9th May session, participation fees will be increased to £10 for one week only with all proceeds donated to CALM. We’re also running a Spot the Ball competition to hopefully generate more funds. The winner can choose from a selection of gift cards (Amazon, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, etc) amounting to 10% of the raised funds.

Previous Charity Events:
- The Tudors Supporters Club donated £170 to Dacorum homeless people charity DENS, after the funds were raised by “Community Kickabout” participants for the 21st December 2020 session. Even though the session was cancelled due to restrictions imposed the day before the session by Tier 4 measures, all participants were willing to still go ahead with donating their fees to DENS. Read about about it here.
- We raised funds for Mind in Herts via our Community Walkabout lockdown fitness initiative, which encouraged local people to get active. Hertfordshire Mind Network delivers essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services from seven Wellbeing Centres and other venues across all ten districts of the county. We exceeded our original £100 target, and our donations page remains open.
- We raised funds for Mind in Herts again in December 2021, once again donating the participant fees for our “Christmas Kickabout” which on this occasion totalled £230. We rounded this up to £250 when we made the donation to Mind.
