The Tudors Supporters Club has donated £170 to Dacorum homeless people charity DENS, after the funds were raised by “Community Kickabout” participants for the 21st December 2020 session. Even though the session was cancelled due to restrictions imposed the day before the session by Tier 4 measures, all participants were willing to still go ahead with donating their fees to DENS. A big thank you to everyone who donated.
We really appreciate your support of DENS and your thoughtfulness for those individuals who are most in need during these difficult times when demand on our services is higher than ever. Our Accommodation Services are currently supporting 95 people who would otherwise have nowhere to stay during the cold winter months. Each week this winter, our Day Centre will provide 29 one-to-one appointments to people in urgent need of help, and our Foodbank will support 121 people facing food poverty. Your kind donation will be vital in ensuring we can continue to meet this demand, and support the most vulnerable people in our community. With restrictions still in place, this will undoubtedly bring further issues and disruption to our services, so we really appreciate your help in ensuring we can meet our priorities and continue to support local people facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion. Thank you once again for helping rebuild the lives of vulnerable local people. Your support is very much appreciated during these challenging times and in the weeks and months to come.
