Thank you to everyone who participated in this week’s Community Kickabout; it was the return of the 8pm session last night and in total we had one game at 8pm and three games at 9pm – our biggest session to date with 41 people playing. Booking is currently open via our website for our 8pm and 9pm sessions next Monday – please note that we won’t be able to use the main pitch next week as it won’t be set up in time after Hemel FC’s home game earlier that day. Therefore places will be limited to games of 6-a-side in the cage, however we might be able to add another game to the 8pm session if there is enough interest.
Our 9th May 2022 session in a fortnight coincides with Mental Health awareness week. As we’ve received grateful support from CALM through their Caring United campaign, for our 9th May session all participation fees will be donated to CALM and we’re also running a Spot the Ball competition to hopefully generate more funds. Check back nearer the date for details of signing up for the session and the spot the ball competition.
