Apologies to those of you who played in the 9pm games in the cage last night, we had a slow start and disjointed games – some players didn’t turn up or were late and we had to make some last minute changes to plan. If you can’t make it to a session please keep us updated even if it’s late notice, as we can use players from the back-up list or make other plans.
Apart from that… thank you to everyone who joined in this week’s session, which was another five games between the 8pm and 9pm sessions, with both men and ladies in action. it’s not over yet for this week as in just a few days we’re trialling extra games on a Thursday for the first time; we’ll run 8pm games in the “cage” at Vauxhall Road and assess whether there’s enough interest to organise the extra games for the long term. As it stands, we’ve fully booked one 6-a-side game and have a standby list for another pitch. Booking is now open for next Monday’s 8pm and 9pm sessions, as well as next Thursday’s 8pm game.
