Thank you to everyone who joined in this week’s session, which was our 96th session since we launched just over two years ago and took our total number of games up to 200! We’re very grateful for everyone’s participation which has led to the success and growth of our football initiative. This week we had 62 players involved in three games of 6-a-side and one 8-a-side for the Men, plus 5-a-side for the ladies – all well competed games and it was good that the rain eased off for us just in time this week. Booking is now open for next Monday’s 8pm and 9pm sessions.
Next week we’re trialling extra games on a Thursday; we’ll run 8pm games in the “cage” at Vauxhall Road and assess whether there’s enough interest yo orginaise the extra games for the long term.
