Next Monday’s session, 9th October 2023, will be three years since our first recreational football game kicked off at Hemel Hempstead Town FC. From one game of 5-a-side, our initiative has grown to 9 games each week across three days, including a women only game. The success and continued growth of our sessions is mainly down to the eagerness of the players getting involved, playing with a genuine sense of shared purpose in being active and social, creating a welcoming atmosphere at our games. We’re also thankful to Hemel Hempstead Town FC, especially Chairman Dave Boggins and Secretary Dean Chance, for their support and flexibility when providing us opportunities to use the brilliant facilities at the Focus Community Arena.
To celebrate our third anniversary, we’re giving away six £50 Adidas vouchers next week, with one player being selected randomly from each of the following sessions:

Volunteers of our community initiative organise small-sided football sessions in Hemel Hempstead for Men (over 30’s) and Women (no age limit). Subject to online booking to confirm availability, you can just turn up and play in our popular and friendly games – there’s no long term commitment, you don’t need to rely on having enough players to book your own pitch or even be part of your own team, just register and play whenever it suits you.

Our sessions take place on FIFA Pro standard all-weather artificial grass at Hemel Hempstead Town FC, Vauxhall Road; our matches are an easy, affordable and friendly opportunity for anyone to get active.
