Thank you to everyone who joined in this week’s session, with 50 players in total across games at 8pm and 9pm. We started off with 6-a-side Men’s Over 30’s and 5-a-side for our first even Ladies game, then followed that up with 6-a-side and 8-a-side for the Men’s Over 30’s at 9pm. Booking is now open for next Monday’s 8pm and 9pm sessions.
Thank you to everyone who joined in this week’s Ladies session, the first we’ve organised and it was a well contested and enthusiastically played game. Thanks also to those who joined the standby list and we apologise that we couldn’t accommodate everyone. We’re going to continue the trial next week and the fee will remain reduced to £3 – we’ll then take a break on Bank Holiday Monday 29th August before considering whether there’s sufficient interest (and the continued availability of the pitch) to commit to running a Ladies only session weekly from September.
