Thank you to everyone who participated in this week’s Community Kickabout, a wet night but otherwise some good, enjoyable and well competed games. The addition of an 8pm slot for a fourth pitch wasn’t a great success; whilst the 8pm slot itself quickly sold out, typically there wasn’t as much demand this week and it meant we were left with less players for the 9pm sessions. We cant let the 8pm session be to the detriment of the existing 9pm slots as we’ve committed long term to the bookings of the pitches… however we’ll trial the 8pm slot for another week and see how we get on. If it doesn’t work out and we stop the 8pm slot, we’ll still keep it in mind moving forward if the Monday night sessions keep generating more interest.
Next week, on Monday 7th March 2022, we’ll continue to trial an 8pm session. Booking is currently open via our website for both 8pm and 9pm sessions.
