We recently increased the size our Wednesday 9pm session, which runs on Hemel Hempstead Town FC’s main pitch. We can make use of some or all of the pitch – we’re reviewing this on a weekly basis depending on interest, so if game you want to play in is fully booked, please make sure you’re joining the standby list.
Our Monday and Thursday games are booking up very quickly each week, so the bigger Weds session is a good opportunity for more players to be involved.
Since inception in 2020, our volunteers have been instrumental in organising weekly football sessions for men (age over 30) and women (no age limit). You don’t need to be part of a team, you just register for a game, turn up and joining in your allocated game. Our initiative has been lauded for ts positive impact on participants’ mental and physical health, providing a sociable and inclusive environment. The emphasis on our sessions is having fun!
Our sessions take place at Hemel Hempstead Town FC, Vauxhall Road, on their superb FIFA Pro standard all-weather artificial grass; our matches are an easy, affordable and friendly opportunity to get active.
To encourage the growth of our games, we’re opening up Wednesday 24th July 2024’s session for FREE games! You will need to be registered with us and book a place through the Spond app as usual, but there’ll be no charge.
