REMINDER, CHANGES TO BOOKING PROCESS STARTS TODAY

Starting today, bookings will go live on the Spond app one week ahead of the games – so tonight at 9pm, next Monday’s 8pm games will open for booking; at 10pm, next Monday’s 9pm games will open for booking, etc. Make sure you have your debit card ready to complete the booking – once you’ve used it once you can opt for the app to keep your payment details for future bookings.

So from now on, anyone who wants to join in our sessions will need to sign up to Spond, download the Spond app, and complete the below form.

We appreciate there’s some additional burden in having to register and download this service, but once you’re registered you should find this an easier way to book on and pay for our sessions.

We will no longer be able accept PayPalcard payments only; the benefits of changing to this booking process are: 

  • Notifications for upcoming games will be automatically sent out a week in advance.
  • If you’re on the standby list, the app will generate a notification for you to book on if a place becomes available (in order of who joined the list first).
  • You can use the app to change your availability for a game. 
  • The booking fee is less, only by a few pence but every little helps… 
  • There are group chat and private chat services within the app for easier communication with session organisers etc. 

There’ll be no more weekly emails to notify of bookings etc, as all updates and messages will now be delivered through the app. If you’re unsure about using this new system or have problems joining the Community Kickabout group once you’re in, please email us.
